Harry and Will (yes, we’re writing this in the third person) met at Manchester University, and immediately bonded over a love of music, a love of Bloody Marys, and a frustration at how hard it can be to find a proper, quality version of their favourite drink.
Fast forward a few years (well, a lot of years) spent hunting down the finest examples of the drink, experimenting at home, and trying out new batches on friends to perfect their perfect blend, they decided it was time to get their recipe into cans and solve that problem once and for all. I mean, how hard could it be? Really bloody hard it turns out...
Fast forward another couple of years spent finding all the technical expertise to make this a reality, further testing and tweaking the mix, and getting help from as many people in the industry as they could. There were plenty of disasters along the way; from nearly blowing up Signature Brew's canning line (our friends who kindly let us hook up our first ever test keg) to causing an 80 year old man to call NHS direct after he’d sampled a particularly fiery early version (although to be fair he hadn’t had any breakfast).
Eventually, in summer 2019, we took delivery of the finished cans. Beautifully sleek aluminium cylinder of goodness, able to keep our quality ingredients fresh, lock in the punchy flavours we love, and guarantee a perfectly convenient, perfectly consistent serve, every time. Problem solved.
